I hope this message finds you well. We wanted to update you on some of what we’ve been working on this year.
In this update, you will find information on a number of the measures my team introduced along with information pertaining to the Governor's budget proposal, which was recently revised to incorporate new economic information and the ongoing negotiations with the Legislature. Although negotiations will continue into the summer months, I was happy to see the Governor prioritize the needs of Californians from all walks of life in his budget while also being careful with the state's long-term finances as we face a more challenging economic future.
