2025 Winter Newsletter
Dear Friends,
As we collectively look forward to new beginnings in the coming year, I want to reflect on the unprecedented challenges many of us faced through 2025. The January Fires set a difficult stage of heartbreak, uncertainty, and anguish. Our resilience and patience has been tested by a number of lingering gaps in support. And as always, our community has been there for one another – lending hands to support, ears to vent frustration, and shoulders to lean on.
Through this heavy year and as this recovery maintains center stage for our offices in Sacramento and Los Angeles, we have a lot to look back on. From logistical and financial support for rebuilding to revitalizing our beloved entertainment industry, 2025 kept us busy. Now, we’re gearing up for a 2026 that will pick up where we left off and tie a bow on my final term in the State Senate. If you would like to know more about work highlighted here or otherwise, or need assistance from our office with state programs or resources, please do not hesitate to reach out!
From my family to yours, we are wishing you all a warm, safe, and happy new year.
