The State Legislature adjourned its two-year session at midnight August 31, and the Governor’s September 30 deadline to sign or veto bills has come and gone. This past Legislative Session was filled with important policy debates and steps forward to improve environmental protection, public safety, and the overall wellbeing of our communities. As always, there were successes, missed opportunities, and much work left to be done.
