We just reached the halfway point of our legislative year in Sacramento! My office has been working on important policy proposals to help homeowners reduce their fire risk and maintain insurance coverage in the private market, improve enforcement over insurer practices that harm policyholders, crack down on rent price gouging after a disaster, and more.
 

We are excited to have received strong approval of these proposals from my colleagues in the Senate, and will continue advocating for these necessary consumer protections in the Assembly.
