Make Your Voice Heard! Register to Vote Today
Dear Friends,
The deadline to register online to vote in California’s upcoming Primary Election is May 18. If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to register today so you may participate in the civic discourse and influence the future of our community and state!
The steps are clear and simple. Visit RegisterToVote.ca.gov to check your registration status and register by the May 18 deadline.
In 2016, I authored the Voters Choice Act (SB 450) to allow you to choose when, where, and how you vote. You can now:
- Vote by mail
- Drop your ballot off at one of many ballot drop boxes placed around the County
- Vote in person at a vote center starting 10 days prior to Election Day on June 2
Learn more about these voting options, ballot drop box locations, and vote centers at lavote.gov.
If you have any questions on these matters or need any assistance, please feel free to contact our Capitol office at (916) 651-4024 or our district office at (310) 414-8190. You can also follow us on social media or visit our website for additional updates from Sacramento and around the district.
All my best,
Ben Allen
Senator, 24th District
