Sacramento, CA – Senator Ben Allen (D – Santa Monica) today honored Beach City Baseball Academy as the 26^th Senate District’s “Small Business of the Year.”  Matt Watson, the Academy’s Director of Operations, accepted the award on behalf of owner Richard Murad at a luncheon in Sacramento.

“Not only does Beach City Baseball Academy teach young people the skills of our national pastime, they emphasize the importance of friendship, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.  We are fortunate to have Beach City Baseball Academy training our community’s young people with skills they will need in baseball and in life,” Senator Allen said.
