Webinar: Recycling and Composting

In recent years, the California Legislature has created several new laws that change how we dispose of packaging and food waste. Recycling and composting are important components of long-term sustainability goals. For those of us who are eager to do our part, it can be confusing to determine what goes in which bin - or even how to get the right bins in the first place.

To help navigate these challenges, I joined Athens Services Director of Sustainability and Zero Waste Programs Jessica Aldridge for a webinar on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. We discussed California's new composting and recycling requirements, as well as best practices for residents and businesses in Los Angeles County.
