Senate Leader to Introduce 100% Clean Energy Measure

SACRAMENTO – California Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León (D – Los Angeles) is set to unveil Senate Bill 100 on Tuesday, which would require California to generate 100 percent of its electricity from clean, renewable sources by 2045.

62-acre, 16.3-megawatt SunPower solar power plant (VIDEO) on the campus of University of California, Davis.  

From Highway 80, take the UC Davis exit 71, heading south.

Follow Old Davis Road to Levee Road. Turn left on Levee Road. There’s a sign at the turn for the Raptor Center.

Follow Levee Road past the Raptor Center. A couple of minutes down the dirt road from the Raptor Center, the solar power plant is on the left.


Transportation will be provided to members of the press on a first-come first-served basis. Departure will be from 11th and N Streets at 9:15 am, please email to confirm.
