SACRAMENTO – Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles), Chair of the Senate Rules Committee, has announced the following Committee membership changes and Rules Committee appointments:

Senator Steve Glazer (D-Contra Costa), has been appointed Chair of the Banking and Financial Institutions Committee, succeeding Senator Marty Block; and also as a member of the Budget and Fiscal Review Committee, and as a member of the Budget and Fiscal Review Subcommittee No. 4 on State Administration and General Government.

SACRAMENTO – The California Film Commission today announced the selection of nine television projects to participate in the retooled and expanded film and TV tax credit program, bringing to an end the program’s “very successful inaugural year.”

“This has been a very successful inaugural year,” said Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles). “Film and TV projects selected by the program have chosen locations throughout California, boosting local economies and bringing jobs back our state – jobs that could have gone elsewhere.”
