The Assembly Judiciary Committee to Vote on SB 54, the California Values Act

SACRAMENTO – The Assembly Judiciary Committee is scheduled on Wednesday, July 5, to vote on SB 54, the California Values Act, by Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles). The measure, with few exceptions, prevents state and local law enforcement agencies and officers from assisting in the enforcement of federal immigration laws.
