SACRAMENTO – On Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Senate Bill 270 (Padilla/De León/Lara) will be heard by the Assembly Natural Resources Committee in State Capitol, Room 447.
In January, Senator Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) crafted the SB 270 compromise which secured the votes necessary for passage in the Senate. Under aggressive opposition from out-of-state manufacturers, Wednesday’s hearing is the first time the bill will be heard in the Assembly.
